Closing will occur once the offer is accepted and the loan is
approved by a lender (this is usually 30 days from the day you
accepted the contract). Normally the lender will chose a title
company or attorney to handle this procedure.
If they do not select someone, be sure you go to a title
company that is well versed in all aspects of Real Estate
transactions or an attorney with experience in closing real
estate transactions. After all, you want the transaction to go
speedily and efficiently.
The buyer will be required to bring to the closing a
certified check in the amount that is given to him buy the
escrow agent or title company. He will also need to take with
him a paid Home Owners Insurance policy for one year.
